Interesting Denazified EK1

An interesting denazification with complete removal of date and swastika, and replaced screw mechanism.

But it could be an Imperial that is standing in for a 39er...

If you have been following my Denazifed EK Appreciation thread thread you will note how some crosses that have had all the obverse details removed are actually Imperial crosses. I guess if there was no denazified 39er available then they would use a "blanked" Imperial...

It almost appears like it was filled with tar or something....does not look like paint .
Smart to buy denazified crosses....but I feel in the future they will start rising in price and be tough to find cheap any longer....until then get em while you can. It just may be imperial.
