Interesting idea. Of course, it's not conclusive -- but I think it's possible, especially because we have so little information about the maker of this EK.

So we have to keep the door open to every possibility

Hi,

I can see the similarities between frames EK2 Straight 9 and the cross WW1 EK2, but what the manufacturer is too far-fetched suppositions ... IMO.
In the pictures my cross EK2 with Straight 9.
