    Cross of Honor

    I would like opinion on this. I believe it's prewar but not sure. I know it was taken in ww2.



    It's marked on rear with B&N with N inside triangle above. Believe it is bronze not sure if solid or plated. Info and opinions appreciated.

    It's known as a "Hindenburg Cross". They were awarded in the 1930s to all who served in WW1. There are a couple different versions (for instance, some were awarded to widows who's husband had served), but this appears to be the standard veteran's model.
