            Were pin back LDO marked Souvals made post war too and were brass core crosses only made during the war. I am new EK1 collecting and don't know that much about them.

              IMO, good early brass core with swaz on pedestal and "deep 3", but it seems to me that the core was repainted ...

                You are correct about the repaint and I thinking of taking it to the local paint store and test it to see what the composition is. I believe it was war time repaint due to heavy use.
