I'd buy it!
It could be the 'end of the run' & no standard pin left in stock so the
maker 'improvised' by using a hinge/pin assembly from a General
Assault, Infantry Assault or even Panzer Assault to finish it.
Who knows? It's believable as it is!

Not an expert but I agree with RKC: nice KVK 1/S in tombac (it looks like tombac to me) married to zinker (plate mounted) hardware at the factory (not repaired)
