WW2 EK2 clasp on WWI EK2 ribbon with Ostfront Ribbon

This piece walked into my antique mall booth today. Came from vet's son who stated his father was in a Grave Registration unit in WW2 and cut this from a German's tunic. Need feed back and approximate value range. It appears to be first model EK2 clasp, unable to see marks on back, don't want to remove from ribbon due to fragility of ribbon.
