I am looking to trade a very nice bronze Mother's Cross with ribbon. What is the fair value of said medal? The guy I'm looking to trade with knows his stuff, I don't!

Not my field but I agree with Daniel and Sanya the Mother Cross in any class is a common piece. However if memory serves me right there are 2 types/variations of mother crosses (different text on back) so you may be better off to post picts to be sure which version you are talking about...

With immaculate enamel and a decent length of clean ribbon that's about right. Any damage at all and you're looking at €20 IF anyone even wanted to take it.

Thanks Guys, that helps a lot. I have been collecting U.S. militaria for some time, but this Cross was part of an estate I bought and I have never owned any German items.
