I could not make out a makers, mark. Here is a photo, but I cannot see a number.

Seams to be where the ring ends are melted together .

Does this appear to be an early or late made cross? Approximately when ?

Dating these is generally hard to do . I would guess your award may have been made some time during the first half of the war .
Bronzed copper core KvKs are early and zinc Kvks on the other hand are always late war .
