Question about ribbon bar for War Merit Cross 2nd Class

Hello,

I have a question about the ribbon bar for the War Merit Cross 2nd class with swords.

Would the cross device on the ribbon bar be silver or bronze? Im assuming bronze since the award itself was bronze.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, they are always bronze.
