    EK 1 Good?

    Greetings,
    Opinions? I am offered this cross, but I do not know the seller at all. It would be very nice if he is reliable as he has several items I am interested in.

    Rough picture. It looks to have been re-painted. Notice the paint on the beading. Just from that, I'd wait for another.

              I don't doubt the authenticity of it. The repainting does look a bit sloppy, but IMO it depends on what you expect in the cross, what you are using it for and what price the seller is asking. If the price is right it would work as a nice display on a nice salty tunic.

                A 20 marked (Zimmermann) cross does not look like this.

                    I am not too surprised as the Air Gunner badge pictures brought comments typified by Lorenzo’s “Aaaaaagggghhhh!!!!....my eyes...my eyes are burning!!!”. I imagine there isn’t much point in posting pictures of his Panzer badge with 25 engagements.
