I would pay less for such a heavely clean cross.
If it was only patina removed (which is also a shame), but here some of the finish has been removed.
This wil, in my opinion also detract from the value.

        Hello,

Can you guys explain to me the "heavily cleaned" part please. I see wear on the back with leftovers of original finish.

With regards to the front I also see wear??

Here are extra pictures of the same cross

What are you seeing that I'm not?

        Thanks

The total lack of finish except around the rivits, hinge, catch on the back, and around the swaz on the front.
Only cleaning/poloshing will remove so much finish.
Or else there would have been traces of finish left on the back and front.

              I hope this makes sence.
