Difference Between early and later EK2s

So I just got 2 EK2s, one is unmarked, the other is marked 7, the unmarked one is a little smaller, and the cross is a little more rounded one the edges of the arms. The 7 marked EK is almost so sharp it feels like a knife. Are one of these early, and one late war?

    Pictures would be great,
but marked iron crosses started to show up during 1941.
And not even then that did every cross have a makermark. So only way to depend if late or early of the unmarked ones you have are that you post pictures of them.

    Best regards,
    Daniel
