I am not familiar with the Ehrenblattspange der Luftwaffe.

Is this an original piece?

One can see traces of usage on the top of the eagle.
I notice there is a small hole on the side which bothers me...

Looks like a cast copy. Certainly not an original piece.

I say not original, bad and soft details, on a original it should be much more sharper.

That's bad news...it came with a COA from Detlev Niemann; eventhough he wasn't perfect, he knew his badges very well...

I don´t think that Niemann´s COAs mean very much anymore...

Sorry it is a die-cast fake. For example compare the swast (yours is on the right-hand side) with the original (on the left-hand side).

I got carried away by the COA...id not think that Niemann would make such a mistake...

Maybe the coa is also fake...did you buy it direct from the dealer? If you did I thought Cartsen Baldes was honouring the COAs.

No, it came from a collector....I heard indeed that these are being faked as well..
