    Dave and Jujuy,

Checking the 9 o'clock frames on your crosses, do they have a 'blister' in the polished outer silver surface similar to this..........

Save your money, I had one exactly like this checked out by D.Niemann. He concluded that it was a postwar assembled piece, Quote: "either by Steinhauer & Luck themselves or out of leftover parts from this company".

              Harry,

so we have it officially from Detlev that S&L did manufacture swastika crosses after the war from left over parts?

Whatever about 'manufactured' but according to D. it would seem that they did assembled some post-war.

Oleg, is the finish on the beading on the 12 0'clock arm a bit 'corroded' looking, like this...........

Do you think that the core in post 24 by you is a casted core ? The surface looks rather rough.

                            Thanks.

                              Harry,

whether manufactured, produced, assembled, fabricated, or whatever - the interessting part it that D.N. knows and admitts that S&L and/or somebody else in posession of S&L parts (maybe even only frames) did "create" Knights Crosses with swastika after May 1945!

Granted, the quality is not there at all, but maybe only in the late stages of the revived production?
