    My Jewel!

    Hello,

as I have stated before I love EK's with patina, and this particular EK has the best patina I have ever seen with a rainbow like color in the right angle and so on.
This is not my favourite maker,
but it is for sure my favourite cross I have.

So here is my Franz Reischauer.
Hope you like it as much as I do

(Others are also welcome to post the cross they like the most of its looks in this thread)

    Best regards,
    Daniel

Nice cross for sure, but your photos are not good enough in my opinion to see the beautiful Patina...

          Hello,

It is very hard to take any good pictures of the patina, and these pictures do not justify the beauty of this cross neither.
But I hope these are better than the first ones.

          Best regards,
          Daniel

                Great suggestion!!

                Hi,

                Firstly, nice EKII!

Here is an image of my EKII with the most patina. You can see the colors in the patina which I believe is the effect you would like to capture. Keep working at it ,and you will succeed!

                Best,

                Jeff

                  Hello Daniel!

Your cross is a beaut mate, fair play to you. I too love patination and my favourite maker is Klein&Quenzer, they are common of course but the quality is very good and they age nicely.

                  Cheers

                  Ross

Yes Daniel - at times quit difficult to catch the 'rainbow' effect on the frame just right .
I have 2 that have this amazing flow of colors - much brighter than the pictures show .

                            Hello,

been a while since I started this thread, but I tried today with new methods to catch the patina. I used artificial light, because this time of the year it is basicly just dark in Finland.
Nevertheless, I think I managed to finally catch the beautiful patina on it !

I only need to buy myself a camera with a proper optic so I can add more sharpness, but for now I am pleased

looks like the quality of the pictures dropped while uploading them, so the rainbowlike patina isn't visible that well afterall and the details are gone
