EK 2 with 800 mark

Hi all,
got this EK 2. As far as i know this is a Souval cross. It comes with that strange 800 Silver mark on the rim. Original Souval cross with bogus Silver mark ?

Yes, this is a well-known postwar (fake) silver stamp.

If the signature is secondary post-war, it is worth to say that the cross is ok

Hi Jarek,

It is seen mostly on awards you do not collect, like Imperial badge fakes. Never seen it on an EK2 before, so you're right: not so well-known here
