    Iron Cross 1st class, one-piece

This one-piece EK I bought at militaria321.com. However, I've never seen a one-piece EK1, what is your opinion?

Too sad the pin was broken...

Officially the maker is still unknown.
Some think they were made by Deschler, others say Juncker.

The pinback comes with a thin, straight pin and a somewhat thicker straight pin
There is also an SB version

That is all I can tell you about it....

            Thank you Ben,

I often found very rare original items for less money at militaria.com. And all items were original :-)

There is also a 1914 version, though probably made at around the same time as the setup is identical. I think they are probably made by Deschler.

they are indeed quite rare! I personally am totally convinced that they were made by a "Juncker'ish" manufacturer, what means that it either was produced by Juncker or by a manufacturer that stood in a (Business)relationship to that company.

That very variant in better condition can actually be found on the Estand, just as its "Deschler" counterpart.

                  greetings, Stefan
