EK2 Found - Good or not?

Sone time ago I found in a flea market this ek2 in very bad conditions. It's unmarked on the ring and it's difficult to understand for me if it's good or not.

I'd need your expert help

Yes it's magnetic even if the metal appears so damaged

I agree, it can be "24", but that's just a guess

Here's a 24 for comparison. The outer edge of the frame is wider than most other EKs which gives it a distinctive outline. Of course that doesn't prove it's a 24, but it looks very much like one.

The frame may be wide - but frame and core are not a match to a 24 at all .

Hi Douglas,
Maybe you're right, though not necessarily. I admire your confidence.
At this stage of destruction frame and the core (also see traces intensive cleaning of rust ...) I'm not sure of anything
