    German Cross in Gold opinions

    Found at a local estate auction and went for the price of a very cheap repro.....
    marked 4 for ST&L I know they are always debatable

      If so ... then worth it. These are highly suspect being postwar period. But you never know what discoveries will be made years down the road. You may have a steal of a bargain, or a boat anchor now as then ... who knows ...

        If it was very very cheep like max 200 $ then maybe

          German Cross in Gold opinions

          I have a very similar looking cross in Gold. The four piece hollow rivet set up, catch and pin all seem to match the one posted, but the one I have does not have a makers mark.

          Looking closely at the one I have, there are some very distinctive flaws with the 941 and where the Zimmerman flaw usually is, are two small blobs.

          Does your S & L have anything similar?
