    L59 screwback

Received this L59 Screwback over the Christmas period, less then 5 days from Belgium all recorded and signed for!! thanks Marc B, you might of seen it on estand a few weeks ago covered in brown/black tarnish, this was caused by a clear laquer coating now fully removed and cleaned it's amazing what nail polish pads can do, hope you like it

      mickey.
Nice cross and original. The clear laquer coating is a part of the cross. The Germans coated the crosses with this to protect the frame and make it last longer. I would not have polished the cross as it takes away its natural age and patina. This is only me and i know others will not agree.

      Cheers.

WOW, I remember this one. What a difference.

I agree with you Peter, but if you remember this one as it was advertised, this is a nice improvement.
