Hi Alan, good ones have 23 - 25 rows to the white thread. Usually 25. Yours seem to be 22 only. Probably a later copy.

Is it 40 mm or 45mm

It's 40mm and does not light up under 'black light'.

The white thread count for 40mm ribbon from what I've read on the fourm is 18,21,and 22 . i have a 40mm that is 22. mine looks identical to yours including the black band being narrower than thhe white.
