Cool Named EK 2 in parade mount

    Nicely engraved on the back.

    anyway to research the soldier?

    Thanks,

It does not match any reported KIAs or officers, DKiG awardees or General Staff officer. Ludwig Nisse would appear to be the name. The last name is uncommon so you may be able to find something on him. Nice example.

Great, interesting piece (maker 23). I've seen that before on one or two EK2s and also on an RK.
        Best regards,

I was just about to add that id never seen that before! was it long ago Trevor!
Id always be cautious with engravings on TR awards but id have a good gamble on that being period.

I like it and hope that he can be traced for you mate

                Hey Ross,

I wish I'd saved the photos of the EK2. Would have been within the past five years. But here's the RK:

                Best regards,
