It does not match any reported KIAs or officers, DKiG awardees or General Staff officer. Ludwig Nisse would appear to be the name. The last name is uncommon so you may be able to find something on him. Nice example.

I was just about to add that id never seen that before! was it long ago Trevor!
Id always be cautious with engravings on TR awards but id have a good gamble on that being period.
