    My new baby

    Here is my 1957 early set of oakleaves with the fully cut out leaves , frosting and on the back a small loop and the 800 silver mark at the 9 O'clock position all indicators of an early set .

    All for 15 Euro off Ebay !

        Seriously, very nice piece at a great price. These 57's are beginning to interest me.

        Wish I could have gotten that RK Marc was selling!!!

          Hi Guys ,

          Thanks for the comments , yes i did get this cheap but the photo on the description was really bad and i thought i,d take a chance and 15 Euro was a good price for a late production stay-bright glittery horror !

              Can you provide dimensions? Looking at the pics I can see casting flaws which would suggest to me that these are a cast copy of a '57 set.

                Could you point those flaws out ? Is it the pitmarks at the back you are thinking of ?

                      Hi ,

                      Thanks for pointing these out , i have looked under my jewellers loop and their is a flaw where your first arrow is ( the upper one ) and it almost looks like a paint ripple ( a side ways y ) . On the second arrow i cant see a flaw and the back looks ok , their is a hairline going round the edge .
