The marking (4) and the cross look ok to me. I couldn't give an opinion on the case though as there's not enough of it shown.

Looks classic S&L to me, I have no problem with this cross at all, howevr a better shot of the case would be helpful.

iv'e got the same cross ..only yours look better
and it has a repair on the hinge(a bad one i might add)
mine is in his case also only it doesn't have the pushbutton (never been there)
and it's pretty damaged
This weekend i'm going to my B.I.L and make some pictures of my items for all to see
