    Hello everyone,

Any opinions welcome! Sorry, these pictures are not the best. Will upload better photos tomorrow.

    Hi Klaus

Did someone take an angle grinder to the reverse Klaus!!!!! The detail on the front is crisp and eye catching especially the swaz. The ring is clear and does not dip. I would say 100% but I am no expert on these.By the way who is the recipient out of interest?

Easier to identify than the ring. As Tom said, somewhat attacked on the rear, but very clear details.

              Hi,

just to inform anyone : the family (?) of the holder tried to propose a fake (?) ring (not similar to the one on the picture ?) to Emeredato then... to Klaus.
Then the family "found the RK".

                Thanks everyone!

Vince, we don´t know if the ring is fake or original at this moment. All we know is that everything other arrived so far is absolutely real. This thread is about an original Knight´s Cross.

                  Hi,

Klaus, to say the least the story of the TR is already too strange to be ignored.
And the fact that the ring is not 100% proved as fake doesn't make it 100% real.
This is the major problem on the WAF, stuff that can't be proven to be fakes are said to be real, which is just non-sense.
About the ring, many collectors already pointed out that the ring was 1) not the one of the picture 2) the ring looked cast 3) the avorted deal with a previous dealer when people started to have doubts is not in favor of a good ring 4) the fact that everyone rely only on Don Boyle and that no one wants to pay 400 euros to get a potential +7000 euros ring checked by Don is beyond my understanding...
And this is not because the Zimmermann RK and other papers are real that this ring is real. "Mined" lots with fakes is so common these days.
I wish that the advanced TR collectors of the WAF posted their own opinion, but it seemed to be not the case...
But back to the Zimmermann RK.
Were you able to get info about the picture with the RK and the TR ? Was it taken during the war ? The RK is the same as the picture for sure.

                  See You

Like others have said, it is a genuine Zimmerman cross. Unfortunate about the damage, though. -Ger
