I tried to find the chip flaw of the frame but I am lost because I do not know what I am looking for.

This may help Alf : A flaw that has been mostly ignored .
On some W&L EKs you can see the actual progressing flaw . On most frames this flaw has been removed - probably when the working die was being made .

Hi Douglas, thank you for your meticulous visual presentation which without it, I would have never found the flaw of that size
                        Regards
                        Alf.
