    A Couple of Cased EKIIs

    I like the crosses, but the cases are out of the ordinary, your comments would be most welcome. First up, a 'rounder 3' in an RK style case......

                    Sorry have to post again Harry. Show that Shickle EK only front, did find that date a bit odd.

                      Well spotted Mikael!
                      It is a less common Schincke pattern with the smaller date higher up the arm. This type appears in Gordon's book, page 62 bottom right-hand corner. According to this reference, there were more than 1 company producing schinkel form crosses.

                          I don't know cases well, but with regards to these particular cases how does one determine they are for the 1939 EK2? The second case looks similar to 1914 EK's.

                          I only have one cased and it is LDO marked.
