    Spanish made EK 2nd class

Hi, A friend of mine has just bought a Spanish made EK 2nd class.
Did these crosses really were made for their troops in Spain
From the photo send to me it seems that it is made in one piece out of brass.
    Thanks
    alf.

It would help if we could see photos. I have one from a grouping of a Blue Division vet and it is a German made cross on a Spanish medal mount. Most I have seen are German WWII era but they probably made more medals after the War.

Many German WW2 awards were made in Spain up until the 70's as replacement for Blue division vets and are generally of poorer quality than those German made. I have examples of Ek 11, War merit cross and ost medal.

To my knowledge there are no wartime Spanish-made EKs.
