    Screwback WMC

Hi guys, I have this on the Estand, an interested member has sensibly asked for some expert opinions.
I cannot make out the number on the disc.
Any thoughts on originality of the badge and case would be appreciated. I am happy its 100% but would like to check.
    Cheers - Greg

The cross might be a Souval cross with wrong disc

If a jeweler loupe was available we could find out. I think the number might be "58".

that disc is normally found on reproduction EK1 screw backs found on Ebay.
I used to pick those up for re-enactors.

                          Hi Greg

I have to agree here, fake screw unfortunately

The cross itself looks ok and could indeed be Souval!
                          Kind regards,
                          Giel

Typically Souval cross with die flow on the left-hand sword grip with a fake screwdisc. I think the cross itself is wartime, but this is very hard to decide when it comes to Souval crosses IMO.

                            Best regards
                            Martin
