Although I am not an EK collector per se I have ended up with 10 cased examples over the years and want to thin out as my main area of collecting is Luft. The photos are of:
Row 1 left to right: L11, Deumer Schinkel, Unmarked Meybauer
Row 2: 15 Orth, 65 K&Q, Not ID'd, 20/L52 Zimmerman
Row 3: 6. Fritz Zimmerman, 100 W&L, and L55 W&L
So I am leaning towards keeping the top row because the L11 is mint, the Deumer is an early example, the Meybauer case is marked and the cross is not (early), and the 65 K&Q because it is nicely vaulted and just has that nice look to it as if it were a WWI piece.
So the purpose of this post is two fold. First, do you think those are the ones I should keep? Secondly, do you see any red flags that would preclude them from being sold? I should also note that I have mint examples of W&L in groupings to Luft personnel so do not need them for examples.
Appreciate any comments.
