WWI EK1 opinions?

SO I got this EK1 the other day and I have mixed opinions of it. There is a stamp to the pin which appears to be maybe 600 The cross is magnetic and is three piece. This is different than most WWI EK1's that I have seen so I was wondering is this a WWII made version or something else? Any opinions are appreciated.
