It looks like a correct wide frame to me but it does appear to be falling apart.
Wide frame EKII's do come up quite often and it may be better to spend your money on a nicer one with a makers mark (number/acorn).
If you can, do return it I would on grounds that condition was not adequately described (er, if this was actually true) i.e. the frame is coming apart.
I find the best place to purchase EKII's is on our own forum.

Have just seen this thread I bought THIS cross two weeks ago spoke to the lady concernd and she sayed she has lots of these crosses and just uses the same photo and mine will be in the post as we speak and she has been on a collecting trip that is why it has not been posted sooner!!!!!!!!
Hope it is better then this crap (seller:bispham item 2290890877) will let you know 3rd Jan when back to work,

The cross looks original but i think the frame has cracked open at some point and a repair has been done. Look how the two frame halves has slided.
I think you can find another cross that you feel more safe with in any case.

i am sorry but the quality is just not there with this piece. it is not uncommon for the sides to split slightly but the quality remains. on the last pic posted has the core been touched up ( black runs on the bead , may be just the pic so if not forget that bit) also the two outer crosses dont seem to match up at all, or is that due to the spliting? can i ask what you paid for this item ?? also whats the ribbon like ? again i agree if looking for nice ek2 you carnt go wrong with the estand on this site and can buy in confidenceComment

I got a EK from him whit small packet for the ek and a bigg normal blue one markt Jacob Bengel. All are ok!
