Thanks Streptile and HeinzGrimberg for the information. I figured it was the wrong disk.. Pardon my ignorance, but what LDO or regular maker's mark would a Wiedmann have if it were marked ( I believe that no Wiedmann EK1s were marked) since the manufacturer has to have SOME number?Last edited by AUSGANG; 01-24-2015, 02:44 AM.

yo~! hi there, Wiedmann manufacturer has to 19 or L/51.
However, not often on the EK1 but other medals on marked.
For example : IAB, EK2....
I never seen marked on the EK1 PKZ Nr. 19..
maybe, reason of early manufacturer production!
since the medals marking in 1942 later. ( included PKZ and LDO )
thus, before in 1942 EK1 unmarked.. ( 1939 - 1941 )
anyway, 1942 later began marking on medals. PKZ Nr. 9 and LDO Nr. L/51 but unclearly Wiedmann manufacturer.
and I think unmarked EK1 very highly qualities. ( because of early typ! )
PKZ = 1,2,3.... Number marking. And unmarked medals( official genuine ).
LDO = L/00 Marking ( at that time copy or purchase store )
