    Personalized 11 Marked EK1

Hi guys, I have had this cross for about 25 years. Never looked that closely at it until I took this picture tonight. I knew it was marked 11, but it turns out what I thought we scratches is the name HEIGEL with the numbers 19269. Very hard to read, but there. Your opinions on the cross would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    John

I was fortunate enough to trade John for this 11 marked Deumer EK_1 for my personal collection and thought I would post some additional photos for reference.

I'm confused; isn't this supposed to be an L/11, not just 11????

I believe chronologically, this is the earlier mark of the two.

Wow! Nice cross Bill! A rare one IMO, you don't see many marked "11" EKI's. This is probably the first one I've seen in a long long time

Most (including me) believe this is just a mistaken L/11 mark. A mis-mark if you will; a misunderstanding of the LDO regulations that was soon corrected. The cross is certainly a Deumer.
                              Best regards,
