the frame little similar the Grossmann but not same and the core totally another and the one piece
I yet never saw such piece (maybe copy or not I don't know)

Interesting piece .
Iron core and Ni-alloy frame .... at least 2 pieces .
The frame flange might have been plated - therefor no seam ??? Hard to say with out having it in hand .

IMO Douglas is right
the inner core a another piece
so not one piece but min two piece ,but very interesting piece

Outside the frame do not see a trace of the joint.
The core is stationary.
Between the core and the frame can not push the paper.
Even in this hole in the picture.
