one piece EK I with textured surface??

This cross puzzles me. It walked in to my friend's store today with some other items unquestionably good. I think I have seen crosses on some of the forums with this weird textured surface that are one piece. It is also non-Magnetic. I will try to post better photos later but here is what I have for now.

Fake for me and I think Floch produced a better cross than the one you show. Fake, reguardless....

This type has always puzzled me too. I am about 80% fake / 20% period. Another discussion, and one about an EK2 version.

If I were you I'd keep it in a "maybe" box.

IMO very ugly cross
