      If the ring says 333 on it - which it looks like it does - then it is a fake . Envelope is no good also .

            Some effort was made to make this cross look 'original and aged' . Creating age ( tear and crumple) to the envelope even .
            3 short pieces of ribbon ? The top ribbon seams to be original - the bottom 2 might not be .

              Much of the discussion about the cross so called "333-fake" already taken place on the WAF-forum and GCA-forum. There are different opinions about it.
              For me, today is a post-war cross, because no one clearly did not prove that it is different ... there are only theories ...
