question L52 Zimmermann german cross

hello

i have a little question regarding a L52 zimmermann german cross in silver

a collector friend argued that a full rivet version exist??

as per dietrich maerz book the german cross i can not belief that this version never exist!!

what are you think?

L/52 marked Zimmermann crosses are extremely rare. It is most likely that your friend saw a fake. I have not seen any Zimmermann L/52 with solid rivets nor do I know of anybody who has seen one. Not in Gold and not in Silver (which is even more unlikely).
But there is only one way to find out for sure - let him provide photos.
