The ring is marked 107 . It is not a Carl Wild cross .
The wide bead step reminds me of a fake .

Certainly a fake -- just search here and you will find a few : know with other numbers as well .
107 did not make any EK2s .

I too believe it to be a reproduction. I have seen this type referred to as a fake Souval due to the similarity between the extended corner beading.

Well Luis a lot of collectors get stung when starting out . I got hit hard by Souval in Vienna 1974 with some items that turned out to be fakes .
Only found out 25 years later ... so could not return them . Auction you say ... can you return that EK2 ???
