    Bob:

Aside from the poorly finished swastikas on the Cross
I keep seeing 2 separate areas I don't like on it.

From the back - Look at the central area of the Cross
it is "out-of-round" referring to your photographs in
everyone of them. Even one of the arms looks a bit
'longer' than the others because of the machine cutting
    the details.

The 'frames' (as I call them), on the arms aren't the same
width all the way around. Your photos show the 'frames'
on the "sides" of the arms of the Cross are wider than the
'frames' on the "outer edges". Is it the photos or me ?

There is a lot to be considered before giving this Cross
the 'Passing mark' seeing that there were only 327 issued
& the purchase/selling price is going to be fairly high

The original AWARD pieces look completely different.
The pieces have all the swastikas on the Eagle Medallion.
      Whether or Meybauer Juncker.

The piece is not real silver! For the late pieces Juncker has used a different needle hook.

The AWARD pays play in the play no important reason. Of very high value, it is not.

Only the original Orner pieces of real silver are very rare and expensive.

That was another reason I wanted to see if there ever had been a 900 on the frame or if it was a non-silver late piece with swords clipped. And if not silver, but swords clipped, how were the four areas where the swords were clipped recovered with silver. Or is the finish consistent. Without it in hand I'm convinced it is a genuine late Juncker piece. Just not sure if it was originally a swords free piece or modified by Juncker or postwar.

          hello,

in this piece, I can make no opinion.

          50/50% original or not!

I would have it in your hand.

            Thanks Guys!
To be honest I never noticed this one did not have swords. I bought it and was trying to sell it at the piece of one with swords.
Do you guys feel the cross is original but "may" have had the swords removed? Or do you feel it is 100% fake?
            Thanks!

I think it is a genuine Juncker although I'd like to examine it under a loop, I'd still go with good Juncker. Just not sure about the whole swords issue.

                Thank You All!
Pieces like this really make me not want to collect, but I am too addicted to be smart!
                Best Wishes,
