Unmarked EK2 Help

Can anyone help with this EK2? I didn't think it was anything special until feeling it in hand relative to others in my collection. I don't have a scale but it certainly seems heavier than most. Can anyone tell by just looking at the obverse?

Another reverse shot... For what it's worth it came with a Frank & Reif packet, amongst a number of other things.

I can analyze certain pieces of militaria all day, especially award documents, but these EKs are always a challenge for me. I could have two of the same maker next to one another and still not tell the difference!! Well, it's bad, but not that bad.

Anyway, I appreciate the assistance

To be clear, this is an S&L design made by an unknown maker and it "could" possibly be slightly heavier than other examples?

this is piece not unknown maker but Steinhauer & Lück piece only unmarked early piece
