    Hi Fabrizio,
Yes, it's very interesting and rare cross.
This cross (called Juncker's long flaw) has already been repeatedly discussed on WAF. Through the known copies of this cross signed "Z", the producer of this cross linked with the manufacturer of the cross LUG Variant (also known copies with the signature "Z")

    Regards
    Jarek

Very nice, Fabri! I had an opportunity to get one of these a couple years back and passed. Wish I would not have made that mistake.

I know the debate is if it is Juncker, or "unknown" or "lug variant". Either way it's a quality cross, congrats on a great find!

              Very nice!

Could someone explain to me why the lug variant is called "Lug"?

              Best regards,
              Michel

It is known as such because it has a lug on top of the frame like Juncker (and several other makers), hence why there was some debate initially about if it was truly a Juncker or something else.

"Lug variant" is just a slang name that stuck within the community to identify the cross as the actual maker is currently unknown.
