Just arrived this is a cross with long yellow on ribbon
I found my collection pair piece similar type
What do you think about it?

Ribbon can be tricky with out having it in hand and testing it .
There are some good fakes out there . Do you have a close up of the cut edge ?

I have had thousand of ribbons and I wonder if these really were that bright from the beginning or if it's some sort of reaction. You can find both narrow and regular size ribbon in this color.

When receiving Schickel crosses there has often been a narrow bright ribbon on. I know that several think that this is wrong. But so many times can't be a coincedence

Hi Sanya :
This nylon fake ribbon is ridiculously easy to pick out ... when the nylon is white . Even being any other color- it behaves the same when tension is released .
To hide this 'fluffing' that strand at the end is melted down to a small ball .
More important actually to watch for this with post war KvK , West Wall , FMM ribbon and others that have a white edging !!
EK2 ribbon does not have white going through it like that - it suppose to come with black nylon 'support strand' .. one has to watch out for .
The other strands are all 'so very extra fine' and not sure might be plastic of some kind .
