Ironing ribbons is a bad idea. I use an electronic teapot filled with distilled water and just hold the ribbon over the steam. The wrinkles come out well and there is no heat sheen left as it is with a hot or stream iron.

Thanks for the info Bob. I never did iron it. ended up just leaving it the way it was.
