I don't like the EK1/spange combo for the same reasons Brian mentioned, the engraving is most ungerman in my experience

Would need better pictures of the EK2 spange but my feelings are it is a bad spange on a good EK2

The EK1 combo spange is a CLASSIC FLOCH Fake...We have seen this type several times here.
Here is a picture from Detlevs copy of the week...it is not a combo but the exact same spange.

            Thanks for the info
I already sent it all back.

It was not a gamble at all based on who sold it.
Too bad the dagger was messed with. If it was a real Generals, it would have been worth buying the grouping, because the value was the dagger & sword, not the awards.

No big deal, i have another in the works right now.
You have to take some chances to get what you want sometimes.
            Hopefully without losing your money

which hasn't happened to me yet ( 18 years now )

Even the dagger was messed with? I thought this dealer was an edged weapons specialist, too. Makes you wonder.

Well im not going to get into details in public.

But all people who make a living ( the only one ) from this have to make money!
thats not saying all sell bad things, but when your doing quantiy it can happen.

                I wasn't worried at all !
