Opinions on this l/56 spange

I picked this up in a direct family vet lot . I had an interested buyer who felt it was a reproduction . I am usually open to this idea but everything i purchased from the family was from the vet box . Opinions are welcome , pics could be a little better but i think an judgment can be made .
