    Knight's Cross case

This one has me stumped! Extremely well made to include the 'highlight' lines around the top and upper lid sides. The case does not react to UV and there's evidence of animal glue in the upper corners...The top portion is thinner than the bottom and it doen't give the clunky appearance of the repo cases!

The grain on the covering material is a bit more coarse than others I've seen...

I felt it was a very nice '57 case when I got it BUT thinking about it further only complicates it....

I'd like some opinions...and thanks in advance!
    Regards,
    Dave

                    Dave,

Can we see a shot of the case opened out flat?

And a shot of the material seperating the lid of the case from the bottom.

Dave- can you lift the base and show us a look at the inside? This looks alot like that one I posted in January that I still believe is "indeterminate". It does glow either, has animal glue, and has the border around the top, but does not look like the other round or square cornered cases I have. Perhaps if there is a code number in the cardboard that would be helpful. Does the backing feel lumpy and soft like cotton wool, or is there a crinckle sound?
