Genuine EK1

Hi,

I am thinking about purchasing this EK1 from a fella in Austria & wanted to know if it's genuine. I am aware of very good fakes circulating in Hungary & don't want to get ripped off. I am new to collecting & the forum & would very much appreciate some help from the experts on here.

The maker is B.H. Mayer of Pforzheim.

Going by the book,it looks like the variant pin version of B h Mayer.John

Hí This is a good Bernart Heinrich Mayer cross but not regular pin
this is a version rarer than another (not rare)
this is manufacturer used three type pin

Not much more can be said except it is a good example and is in very good condition. If the price is right, it's a nice one to have in your collection.
