    TR 1914 mm 26

I saw this cross on auction a while ago. Is it real? Looks to me that the crown is positioned way to far to the right, like a lot of the the Grand Cross copies now showing up on E-Bay. Did I miss out on a great piece or should I be thanking my stars.

I like it. It appears to be an original Mayer frame with nice burnishing and frosting. Don't be alarmed that the core is a little off center; it was made during the TR period. From what I can see of the case it looks good as well. It would be great to see the reverse of the cross to see the hardware and maker mark. IMO, it's good.

It's a good one. It has the correct die flaw in the 6 o'clock arm.
Here is mine to compare against.---
