Gordon Williamson: The Iron Cross og 1939

Dear experts.

I live i Denmark, Europe and I am thinking about buying Gordon Williamsons "The Iron Cross of 1939". The problem is, that I can only find the book in USA and including danish tax the price will be around $ 107! (duble price compared to the US price)

$ 107 is ok if the book is good, but I have never seen the book and it's pages.
Could anyone please post just a few pics of the books pages to give me an idea of what the book is like.

Firstly I haven't the book but its on my Xmas list.... Will you have to pay tax on the book, in the UK usually its only for expensive imported items and not books. Have you thought about looking at the second book sellers on the next? Sorry Gordon not trying to reduce your commission

I do rekomend the book, but i think i go and search for it at ebay. Or get it in the States that´s cheapest.

Yes. The danes put taxes on everything.

I have seen tho book second hand on amazon.co.uk. BUt the price is £ 100! Seems a bit expencive compared to the price in the US.

Do you know any second hand book sellers that could have the book?

Tak for svaret. Jeg har mailet lidt frem og tilbage med Roger Bender. Det ser ud til, at vi får rabet ved ham. Så alt i alt ser det fornuftigt ud.

Jeg har Detlevs bog. Den er meget fin, men har desværre ikke så meget med om kampagne-skiltene; Kuban osv. De interesserer mig meget og der er desværre mange kopier.

I allready have Detlevs book. It is very nice, but unfortunately it doesn't telle much about the campaigne shields; Kuban ect. They interest me og unfortunately there is a lot of copys.

I took your advice and ordered the book from Roger Bender. Mr. Bender's good service was swift and he shipped the book right away. It is here now, and it is all I was told. A very fine book.
